How to Manage Your Team(s) on Sports Thread.

Follow the steps below to manage your organization through Sports Thread.

If you are playing in a tournament format event. For athletes to be added to your team, they must register through your “Team Link”. Scroll down to view where to find and copy your team link to send to your team to register.

After your athletes register you can use your Coach Dashboard to add coaches, edit your roster, and help athletes get their correct information in their account to be eligible for the season.

*League event formats MAY have athletes register through the league to be added to your roster. In this case you will not have a Team Link. Your roster view will display the same way as athletes are added to it.

How to find the Coach Dashboard

Login to your account

Go to sportsthread.com and login to your coach account

Select My Roster and Teams

On your Dashboard, select My Roster and Teams.

Select your event

Select the event you wish to look at from the list.

Select your team

Click to View info to look at your roster and manage that team.

View your roster info

Toggle between Roster Info, Team Info, and Coaches to manage different aspects of your team.

To move athletes, select from the dropdown

Here you can move an athlete to any team in your organization that they are age qualified for.

Player Statuses and Meaning

1. Draft: The athlete has not completed the registration process and will need to click on their registration link and log back into their account to complete and pay.
2. Pending: Something is wrong with their age verification and they have not responded to our request for more information. Please have the athlete/parent check their email for an email from us or contact us at customerservice@sportsthread.com.
3. Decline: The athlete was declined, this can be for many reasons. Including but not limited to; declined by the league due to disciplinary action, the wrong document was used for age verification or we have not received proper supporting documentation that was requested by the deadline. (not every league will have the declined status)
4. On Roster/Approved: The athlete is approved and on the roster. Age verification requirement is satisfied.
5. Too Old: Athletes that are TOO OLD and listed under ON ROSTER have been added to the roster with a grade or partner exception. Athletes listed as TOO OLD and are under PENDING or NOT ON ROSTER are too old for the age cutoff and must submit a grade exception OR be moved to an older roster DEPENDING ON THE EVENT HOST RULES.

Find Your Team Link

In the dashboard, select Team Info

Here you can copy your team link and send them out to your athletes/parents to complete the registration process.

How to Add Coaches

Select the Coaches tab

Enter the email of the coach you would like to invite.

**This must be the email they used to create their Sports Thread Coaches account.

Validate and Send

If they have a Sports Thread Coach account under that email, you will see that they have a valid email after selecting Validate. Once you select Send they will be added to the team.
